The lattice-type ball mill is the key equipment for re-crushing after material being broken. The structural feature of lattice-type ball mill produced by Henan Hongxing is that it is equipped with an ore-discharging grid plate in the cylinder body in mine discharging end. It could accelerate discharging and maintain the pulp surface in discharging end is relatively low so that speed up the flowing of pulp in mill cylinder, reducing over crushing and improving mill production capacity. The production practice shows that the lattice-type ball mill production is 10% to 15% higher than the overflow type ball mill of same specifications. Because of a positive spiral is installed in the hollow shaft in discharging end, small broken ball in the production process can be discharged from the mill through the grid holes;
The lattice-type ball mill can guarantee most of the mill ball media are complete sphere, thereby enhancing the grinding effect. Grid plate can prevent ball medium whose diameter greater than the grid hole are discharged, so its filling rate is higher of 30% to 5% than the overflow type; while, due to the ball media whose diameter smaller than the lattice hole size can be discharged through the grid holes, it cannot be added to small balls. As the above reasons, lattice-type ball mill is suitable for coarse grinding ore.
